: Data Engineer/Senior Data Engineer

Location:

Onsite requirement with drive-only face-to-face interviews. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.

Shift:

12 PM - 9 PM, 4 days work-from-office.

Notice Period:

Immediate to 30 days preferred.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer/Senior Data Engineer with expertise in SQL, Python, and data processing libraries such as Pandas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in writing complex SQL and Python queries, scenario-based problem-solving, and data manipulation with Python’s Pandas library. Experience with Hive is a plus. The role includes team and project management responsibilities for more experienced candidates, with a strong emphasis on client-facing skills and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Management and Query Writing:
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

- Develop high-level Python scripts for data processing and analysis.

- Utilize the Pandas library to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.

- Exposure to Hive for big data querying is an added advantage.

- Project and Team Management (based on experience level):

- For candidates with 5+ years of experience,



exposure to team and project management is highly desirable.

- For candidates with 8+ years of experience, demonstrated experience in team and project management is required (both as an individual contributor and in team management).

- Client Interaction

- Engage directly with clients for requirement gathering and project delivery.

- Ensure clear communication with stakeholders and adapt to client needs and expectations.

- Collaboration and Best Practices

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.

- Follow best practices for code and data handling to maintain robust and scalable solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Technical Skills:
- Robust experience in SQL for complex query writing.

- Proficient in Python, with a focus on writing scenario-based, high-level queries.

- Hands-on experience with the Pandas library for data manipulation.

- Good-to-have knowledge of Hive for big data environments.

- Experience Requirements

- 5+ years of experience: Exposure to team and project management is desirable.

- 8+ years of experience: Must have proven experience in both individual and team management roles, along with project management responsibilities.

- Soft Skills

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in a client-facing role.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach
