As a Data Engineer, your typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. You will be responsible for creating efficient data pipelines that facilitate smooth data flow and ensure the integrity and quality of data throughout its lifecycle.
Your role includes implementing processes to extract, transform, and load data, enabling seamless migration and deployment across various systems. Collaboration with different teams to optimize data handling and support business needs is an integral part of your daily activities. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure continuous and reliable data availability.
- Document data processes and workflows to maintain clarity and support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members in understanding project requirements and best practices. Qualified & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse, Data Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices within cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience in designing and optimizing ETL workflows to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages to manipulate and query data effectively.
- Ability to implement data quality checks and validation mechanisms to maintain data accuracy.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and its integration with data warehousing solutions.
