Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Center & Plant Maintenance Engineer responsible for maintaining electrical systems, cooling infrastructure, servers, data center facilities, and plant equipment. The candidate should have hands-on experience in server setup and configuration, server maintenance, cooling systems, duct arrangements, and data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

◆ Perform electrical maintenance of plant and data center infrastructure, including electrical panels, UPS, power distribution systems, and related equipment.

◆ Handle maintenance and troubleshooting of coolers, chillers, HVAC and cooling systems used in data center and plant environments.

◆ Monitor and maintain plant equipment and facility infrastructure to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

◆ Perform server installation, setup, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.

◆ Manage server channel/cabling configuration, connectivity and physical infrastructure within server rooms and data centers.

◆ Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of servers and IT infrastructure.

◆ Maintain proper duct arrangements, cable routing and infrastructure layouts for efficient airflow, cooling and equipment accessibility.

◆ Monitor data center environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, cooling and power availability.





◆ Support data center infrastructure and cloud-related maintenance activities.

◆ Coordinate with IT, electrical, HVAC and facility teams for troubleshooting and maintenance activities.

◆ Maintain maintenance records, checklists, equipment logs and service reports.

◆ Ensure compliance with data center safety procedures, electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, IT or related engineering discipline.
- Hands-on experience in data center, plant, facility or critical infrastructure maintenance.
- Good understanding of electrical, cooling and server infrastructure.
- Ability to work in a 24×7 operational environment / shifts, if required.
- Strong troubleshooting, coordination and communication skills.
