About the Role:

LDS Infotech is looking for a Data Architect with 4–7 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise data platforms, analytics solutions, data integration frameworks, and data modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate should combine strong hands-on data engineering experience with architecture capability, enabling them to translate business and customer requirements into scalable, secure, high-performance data solutions.

The role will involve designing target-state data architectures, leading modernization initiatives, defining data integration and governance standards, participating in customer workshops, supporting solution development and pre-sales activities, and mentoring Data Engineers.

The candidate will also contribute to establishing and strengthening the LDS Data & Analytics practice by creating reusable architecture patterns, implementation standards, documentation, and delivery frameworks.

Detailed (Key Responsibilities):

Data Architecture & Solution Design o Design enterprise data architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.

o Define target-state data platforms, architecture roadmaps, and technology strategies.

o Design scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performance data solutions.

o Evaluate existing data environments and recommend modernization approaches.

o Define architecture patterns, technology standards, and reusable frameworks.

o Review solution designs and validate implementation approaches.

Data Platform & Modernization o Lead data platform modernization and transformation initiatives.

o Design and implement data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures.

o Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud and data technologies based on project requirements.

o Define scalable data storage, processing, integration, and analytics architecture.

o Support migration of legacy data platforms to up-to-date cloud-based architectures.





Data Integration & Engineering o Define ETL/ELT architecture and data integration strategies.

o Design batch and real-time data integration solutions where required.

o Establish integration patterns for structured and unstructured data sources.

o Define data ingestion, transformation, processing, and orchestration frameworks.

o Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure architecture is implemented according to defined standards.

Data Modeling & Database Architecture o Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

o Define data structures suitable for reporting, analytics, operational and enterprise use cases.

o Provide guidance on relational and analytical database architecture.

o Review data models and optimize them for scalability and performance.

o Identify and address data quality, consistency, and performance challenges.

Data Governance & Management o Establish data governance and data management standards.

o Define standards for data quality, metadata, lineage, security, access, and lifecycle management.

o Support implementation of data governance frameworks across customer environments.

o Contribute to Master Data Management and data stewardship initiatives.

o Ensure data platforms follow applicable security, governance, and compliance requirements.

Analytics Architecture o Design enterprise analytics and reporting architecture.

o Define integration between data platforms and BI/analytics solutions.

o Support Power BI and other analytics platform architecture requirements.

o Design data models optimized for analytics and reporting workloads.

o Ensure analytics platforms can scale with increasing data volumes and business requirements.

Cloud Data Platform o Design cloud-based data architectures using relevant cloud data services.

o Work with platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS data services, depending on project requirements.





o Evaluate cloud services and recommend appropriate technologies based on cost, scalability, performance, and business requirements.

o Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Customer Engagement & Consulting o Lead customer workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture discussions.

o Understand customer business and technical requirements and translate them into data architecture solutions.

o Present architecture options, recommendations, technical approaches, and implementation roadmaps.

o Participate in technical discussions with customer stakeholders and internal teams.

o Communicate complex data concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholder.

Pre-Sales & Solution Development o Support pre-sales activities, solution development, and technical proposals.

o Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, solution documents, architecture diagrams, and technical presentations.

o Assist in effort estimation, technology evaluation, and solution planning.

o Develop reusable solution frameworks and accelerators for future customer engagements.

Preferred Certification:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate – DP-203
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate – DP-600
- Databricks Data Engineer Professional

Certifications are preferred but strong hands-on project experience will also be considered.

Candidate Requirement:

- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture or Data Platform development.
- Strong experience in data architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT and database design.
- Hands-on experience designing Data Warehouse, Data Lake or Lakehouse solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud data platforms and modern data architecture patterns.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric / Azure Synapse / ADF / Databricks / Snowflake is preferred.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, security, metadata and data lifecycle management.
- Experience in designing scalable, high-performance data platforms and optimizing data solutions.
- Ability to lead customer workshops, architecture discussions and technical solutioning.
- Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to mentor Data Engineers and take ownership of architecture and technical delivery.
