Role Description The Data Architect role at DVK Analytics is a full-time, remote position responsible for designing and maintaining robust data architectures that support advanced analytics solutions on Sisense. Day-to-day tasks include defining data models and data flows, creating scalable data warehousing structures, and overseeing ETL processes to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and accessible for reporting and dashboards.

The Data

Architect collaborates with BI consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into optimized data structures and governance practices. The role also involves reviewing and improving data quality, implementing data standards and security controls,



and supporting performance tuning for analytics workloads. Additionally, the Data Architect contributes to solution design documentation, provides guidance on best practices, and helps integrate AI-driven and self-service analytics capabilities into client environments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Data Architecture and Data Modeling to design scalable, analytics-ready data structures.
- Candidates should possess solid experience in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing to build reliable, high-performance data pipelines and repositories.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Data Governance to define standards, policies, and controls for data quality, security, and compliance.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with modern BI and analytics platforms (preferably Sisense) and SQL-based data technologies.
- Candidates should possess experience with cloud data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and relational or columnar databases.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet delivery timelines.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial; prior experience as a Data Architect or Data Engineer in analytics-focused environments is highly valued.
