Role Summary The Data Architect defines the data model and technical architecture underpinning the client's data governance initiative. This role designs how product data is structured and harmonized across source and analytics platforms, and assesses the downstream impact of proposed data changes before they are implemented.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce the detailed data requirements document that defines the master data model and structure spanning SAP, Stibo and Snowflake (finished-goods-to-component BOM hierarchy).
- Design the harmonization and staging architecture in Snowflake bridging SAP, Stibo and R&D; spec sources.
- Perform impact analysis of proposed changes (e.g., GTIN standardization) on downstream systems and processes; engage stakeholders and assess business impact before implementation.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years in data architecture or data engineering, ideally within a CPG or similar large-enterprise environment.
- Proven experience designing data models and hierarchical structures (e.g., finished-goods-to-component BOM)



across ERP, PIM and analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing data harmonization and staging architectures in Snowflake (or equivalent cloud data warehouse) across multiple source systems.
- Working knowledge of SAP data structures and PIM platforms such as Stibo.
- Robust analytical skills to assess the downstream impact of data structure or identifier changes (e.g., GTIN standardization) across systems and business processes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills; comfortable presenting architectural recommendations and impact assessments to cross-functional business and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience architecting data models supporting AI-driven or agentic commerce/PDP initiatives.
- Familiarity with data cataloging and data quality tooling (e.g., Atlan, DQLabs/Teal Labs or equivalent) and how architectural design feeds rule configuration.
