Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support our manufacturing operations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production data. The ideal candidate will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and analyze manufacturing and production data from multiple sources.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs such as:
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Production efficiency
- Machine utilization
- Downtime analysis
- Scrap and rejection rates
- Yield and throughput

- Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities using statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and planning teams to solve operational challenges.
- Perform root cause analysis for production losses and quality issues.
- Create automated reports and dashboards using BI tools.
- Support forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across manufacturing systems.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders and management.




- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a manufacturing workplace.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL
- Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot)
- Power BI or Tableau
- Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn) or R
- Knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Understanding of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- Statistical analysis and data visualization
- Basic knowledge of machine learning is an advantage

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Understanding of production planning and scheduling.
- Familiarity with Industrial IoT (IIoT) and sensor data analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control).
