We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cybersecurity Intern to join our team and gain hands-on exposure to real-world cybersecurity practices.
This prospect is suitable for fresh graduates, final-year students, or candidates with up to 6 months of internship experience who are looking to build a strong foundation in cybersecurity and gain practical industry exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the cybersecurity team with day-to-day security activities and tasks.
- Gain practical exposure to vulnerability assessment, security testing, and basic cybersecurity operations.
- Support basic security monitoring, analysis, and documentation.
- Assist in identifying and reporting potential security vulnerabilities.
- Perform research on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
- Support the team in preparing security reports and documentation.
- Follow established cybersecurity procedures and security best practices.
- Collaborate with team members on cybersecurity-related projects and assignments.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Cybersecurity concepts.
- Knowledge of Networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and common network protocols.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerabilities, threats, authentication, and access control.
- Basic knowledge of security tools is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and work on real-world cybersecurity tasks.
Eligibility
- Fresh graduates / final-year students can apply.
- Candidates with 0–6 months of internship experience are eligible.
- Candidates should have a strong interest in building a career in cybersecurity.
- 6-month remote internship.
- This is an unpaid internship.
