ABOUT THE ROLE

Future Destination Overseas Education is looking for a Freelance Cyber Security Trainer who can deliver practical, industry-focused training and mentor students toward Cyber Security career opportunities.

We are looking for professionals with strong cybersecurity knowledge, hands-on experience with security tools, excellent presentation skills, and fluent English communication.

WHAT YOU'LL TEACH

- As a Freelance Cyber Security Trainer, you will train students on:
- Cyber Security Fundamentals
- Networking Basics (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Firewalls)
- Linux & Windows Security
- Threats, Malware & Attack Techniques
- Vulnerability Assessment
- SOC (Security Operations Center) Fundamentals
- SIEM using Splunk & Microsoft Sentinel
- Log Analysis & Security Monitoring
- Phishing Investigation & Email Security
- Incident Response Basics
- Active Directory & Identity Management
- Cloud Security (AWS & Azure Fundamentals)
- Real-World Security Labs
- Mock Interviews & Career Preparation

TOOLS & TECHNOLOGIES

Splunk | Microsoft Sentinel | Microsoft Defender | Active Directory | ServiceNow | VirusTotal | Wireshark | Nmap | Linux | Windows | AWS | Azure

Candidates should be comfortable explaining these tools and demonstrating their practical application through hands-on labs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES





- Conduct engaging and practical Cyber Security training sessions.
- Explain concepts using real-world attack scenarios, projects, and case studies.
- Deliver hands-on labs covering SIEM, log analysis, and vulnerability assessment.
- Guide students in developing projects and completing assignments.
- Conduct mock interviews and interview preparation sessions.
- Resolve student questions and provide technical guidance.
- Track student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare training materials, lab exercises, and project scenarios.
- Mentor students on Cyber Security career paths and workplace expectations.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Solid knowledge of Cyber Security concepts and methodologies.
- Practical experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar SIEM tools.
- Understanding of networking, Windows, Linux, and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals (AWS/Azure).
- Strong presentation and online training skills.
- Excellent student mentoring and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent English communication is mandatory.
- Ability to confidently explain technical concepts in spoken and written English.
