Role Description The Cyber Security Manager is a full time remote role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls and practices across client environments. This role involves leading security operations, coordinating vulnerability assessments, managing incident detection and response, and ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Manager will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define security architectures, review application and network designs, and guide secure development and configuration practices.



Day-to-day tasks include monitoring security tools and alerts, analyzing threats and risks, prioritizing remediation activities, and preparing clear reports and recommendations for leadership and clients. The role also includes mentoring team members, contributing to security awareness initiatives, and supporting pre-sales and consulting engagements with expert input.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Application Security and secure software development practices, including code review, threat modeling, and integration of security into the SDLC.
- Deep knowledge of core Cybersecurity and Information Security principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and their practical application.
- Hands-on experience with Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, segmentation, and secure network architecture design.
- Proficiency in Vulnerability Assessment, including use of scanning tools, manual validation, risk prioritization, and coordination of remediation activities.
- Experience leading incident response, security operations, and risk management initiatives in complex or multi-tenant environments.
- Familiarity with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), identity and access management, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or similar are highly beneficial.
