We are looking for a skilled and security-focused Cybersecurity Engineer to protect our applications, cloud infrastructure, systems, networks, and data against evolving security threats. The role involves identifying security risks, implementing effective security controls, monitoring for suspicious activity, and supporting the organization in maintaining a solid and resilient security posture.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments, identifying security weaknesses, prioritizing risks, and coordinating remediation activities with development and infrastructure teams. You will implement and maintain security controls across applications, cloud environments, endpoints, and networks while ensuring systems follow established security standards and best practices.

Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, IAM, encryption, cloud security, and security monitoring is required. Experience with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, endpoint-security solutions, and security-monitoring tools is expected. The candidate should also have a good understanding of OWASP security risks, secure coding practices, application security, and incident-response processes.

The role includes monitoring security alerts, investigating suspicious activities,



supporting incident response and root-cause analysis, and helping identify and contain potential security incidents. You will also participate in threat modelling, security assessments, architecture reviews, and application security reviews to identify risks early in the development and deployment lifecycle.

The candidate will work closely with development, DevOps, cloud, infrastructure, and QA teams to integrate security practices into applications and operational processes. You will contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, security automation, secure deployment practices, and continuous improvement of security controls across the technology environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate and communicate security risks effectively. You will maintain security policies, risk registers, assessment reports, incident records, compliance evidence, and security documentation.

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP security controls, penetration testing, security automation, and DevSecOps practices is an added advantage. Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, or relevant cloud-security certifications are also beneficial.
