The Cyber Security

Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events to safeguard organizational systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the security posture of the organization and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise and analytical skills, including:

- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.




- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools like Nessus, OpenVAS, or Qualys.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Ability to analyze logs and network traffic to identify anomalies and potential threats.
- Experience in incident response procedures and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for a broad range of security-related tasks, including:

- Investigating security incidents to determine their scope, impact, and root cause, and escalating issues as necessary.

- Preparing detailed incident reports, documenting findings, actions taken, and providing strategic recommendations for ongoing security improvements.

- Staying current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technology solutions to proactively defend organizational assets.
- Participating in security audits and compliance activities to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
