We are looking for an experienced Customs Manager with in-depth knowledge in Customs
& International Trade practices. The candidate must be a self-started, knows how to work independently, receives minimal guidance, solves complex problems, and takes a recent perspective using existing solutions. You may have to interact with Country, Regional,
Global teams, and external stake holders (like Customs, Liner, Forwarder, Consultants) to drive customs & trade compliance and execute Imports/Exports transactions in India.
Required skills:
8-11 years of relevant experience in Customs Compliance, International Trade with a bachelor's degree
In-depth knowledge and practical expertise in International Trade, Compliance,
Customs regulations, Free Trade agreements (CAROTAR), BIS regulation.
Experience in managing customs audits, in partnership with internal cross-
functional teams, government officials and external consultants, as well as conducting internal health checks / self-audits
Excellent verbal communication and a very strong written communication skill
Any other professional certificates in supply chain, training in relation to the job will be an added advantage
Applies best practices and knowledge of internal/external business challenges to improve products, processes, or services
Should be willing to work from office in Bangalore location.
