We are looking for an experienced H-Card Holder to handle customs clearance activities for import and export shipments. The candidate will coordinate with Customs authorities, clients, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and internal operations teams to ensure timely and compliant clearance of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day customs clearance activities for air and sea import/export shipments.
- Coordinate with Customs officers and other government authorities for shipment clearance.
- Prepare, verify, and submit customs-related documents and declarations.
- Handle Bill of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bill, supporting documents, examination, assessment, and clearance activities.
- Coordinate with clients for required invoices, packing lists, certificates, permits, and other documents.
- Attend customs examination and facilitate the movement of cargo for inspection.
- Follow up on customs queries, queries raised by officers, and pending assessments.
- Coordinate with CHA/Customs Broker, airlines, shipping lines, CFS/ICD, terminals, transporters, and warehouse teams.
- Track shipment status and ensure timely clearance and delivery.
- Assist in resolving customs-related issues and documentation discrepancies.




- Ensure compliance with applicable Customs regulations and procedures.
- Maintain proper records of customs documents and shipment files.
- Update customers and internal teams regarding clearance status, delays, and requirements.
- Coordinate with the finance/accounts team regarding customs duties, charges, and payment requirements.
- Maintain professional communication with Customs officials and other stakeholders.

Required Skills
- Valid H-Card / Customs Broker employee authorization as applicable.
- Valuable knowledge of Customs Clearance procedures for Import & Export.
- Knowledge of Air and Sea Customs clearance processes.
- Familiarity with ICEGATE and customs-related online systems.
- Good knowledge of import/export documentation.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet shipment clearance deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
