Summary

As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements, with a strong emphasis on sustainability-driven design and development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions.

Your role includes ensuring application performance, enhancing user experience, and contributing to organizational sustainability initiatives through responsible technology practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform independently and develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Actively participate and contribute in team discussions.

Provide scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions to work-related problems.

Document application processes and workflows with a focus on long-term maintainability and resource optimization.

Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, best practices,



and alignment with sustainable development standards.

Optimize application performance to reduce compute usage, enhance cloud efficiency, and support sustainability KPIs.

Collaborate with stakeholders to embed sustainability considerations in design, architecture, and deployment.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must Have: Proficiency in SAP BTP Datasphere & Sustainability.

Strong understanding of application development methodologies.

Experience with integration techniques and data management.

Familiarity with cloud-based application deployment with a focus on optimizing resource consumption.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently.

Mandatory: Proven experience in applying Sustainability / Green IT principles in application design, cloud optimization, development, or operations.

Knowledge of sustainable coding practices, energy-effective architecture, cloud carbon footprint optimization, or eco-friendly IT frameworks.

Good to Have: Functional experience or domain experience relevant to sustainable processes (EHS ,ESG ,COP30 ,green ledger & UNEP KPI's).

Additional Information

Minimum 2 Years Of Experience In SAP BTP Datasphere.

This position is based in our Bengaluru office.

A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.

Candidates without demonstrated sustainability experience will not be considered.
