Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Custom Clearance – G Card position based in Panvel (JNPT), supporting operations at Nhava Sheva. The role involves handling customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, including documentation, filing, and coordination with customs authorities and port officials.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing bills of entry and shipping bills, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and resolving queries or discrepancies. The role also requires close coordination with internal operations teams, transporters, and clients to ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery updates.



The person in this role will maintain accurate records, track shipment status, and support continuous improvement in clearance procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong customs operations skills, including Customs Brokerage and hands-on experience with clearance procedures.
- Knowledge of international trade processes, specifically Import, Export, and Import Export documentation and regulations.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with customs officials, port authorities, clients, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with Indian customs systems (e.g., ICEGATE) and port operations at Nhava Sheva is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret regulatory guidelines, tariff schedules, and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Previous experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding; G Card holder status is highly preferred.
- Relevant education in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
