We Are Hiring: Curator & Space Director
About Gallery 476
For 30 years, Elahe has been part of Hyderabad's luxury fashion scene through its chain of multi-designer boutiques, bringing India's finest couture and ready-to-wear to discerning clients.
Gallery 476 is the group's newest venture: a dedicated space where designers, from celebrated houses to the most exciting emerging names, can take over for a limited time and show their work in their own way. The aim is for it to become one of the most sought-after addresses for fashion showcases in the city.
Location: Hyderabad
Gallery 476 is looking for the person who will build it from the ground up.
About the Role The role As Curator & Space Director, you will own Gallery 476 completely: who shows there, how it looks, how the city hears about it, and how it grows as a business. You'll be the face of the space to designers and clients, and you'll run it like it's your own. The role calls for a curator's eye and an operator's discipline in equal measure.
What you'll do:
CURATION AND DESIGNER RELATIONSHIPS
- Build and manage a year-round calendar of pop-ups that feels considered, varied, and true to the Gallery 476 identity.
- Find and approach designers: established labels, emerging talent, and designers from other cities or abroad looking to debut in Hyderabad.
- Assess fit, negotiate terms, and manage contracts, from first contact through to the final day of each pop-up.
- Build lasting relationships so that designers return and recommend the space to others.
COMMERCIAL OWNERSHIP
- Work with the founders to design the commercial model for the space (rental,
revenue share, or a mix) and refine it over time.
- Own booking levels, revenue, and profitability for Gallery 476.
- Manage the budget, pricing, invoicing, and payment collection for the space.
MARKETING AND COMMUNITY
- Build the Gallery 476 brand from scratch: its voice, look, and reputation.
- Run Instagram and other social channels, including content planning, shoots, stories, and designer features.
- Build and look after a guest list of clients, collectors, stylists, and tastemakers.
- Work with freelancers and agencies (photographers, content creators, paid ads) where needed.
SPACE AND POP-UP OPERATIONS
- Keep the space in top condition between pop-ups.
- Manage setup, launch events, day-to-day running, and teardown for every pop-up.
- Oversee the maintenance of the entire space and all its facilities, both during and between pop-ups.
- Make sure designers and their teams have a smooth, well-supported experience from load-in to load-out.
REPORTING
- Track and share results for each pop-up and for the space as a whole: footfall, sales, social reach, and designer feedback.
Who you are:
- You have 4 to 8 years of experience in luxury retail, fashion buying, fashion PR, brand management,
or luxury events. Experience with multi-designer stores or concept spaces is a strong plus.
- You have a well-trained eye and a genuine love for Indian fashion, and you can tell what belongs in a space and what doesn't.
- You can speak confidently to both an established couturier and a first-time designer.
- You're commercially minded and comfortable negotiating, pricing, and owning targets.
- You're highly organised and calm under pressure, especially in the final 48 hours before a launch.
- You have a solid sense of social media and content, and a feel for how luxury brands present themselves online.
- You already have a network among designers, stylists, and fashion media, or you're good at building one quickly.
- You're comfortable with irregular hours around launches, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of Hyderabad's fashion and social scene is a big advantage.
What the role offers:
- The chance to build a new fashion space from day one, with real ownership and direct access to the founders.
- The backing of an established luxury retail group, including its relationships, client base, and industry knowledge.
- Creative freedom to shape a space that could define fashion showcasing in Hyderabad.
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
How to apply:
- Send your CV and a short note to
[email protected].
- In the note, describe a space, pop-up, or showcase you've built or admired, and what you'd do with Gallery 476.
- A portfolio or Instagram handle showing your work is welcome.
