Role & responsibilities

- Patient Care & Preparation:
- Verify patient identity, clinical history, and physician orders prior to scanning.
- Screen patients thoroughly for metal implants, devices, or other MRI contraindications and radiation safety guidelines.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients, answer questions, and alleviate anxiety.
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images. [1, 2]
- Equipment Operation & Imaging:
- Operate CT and MRI scanners, selecting correct software parameters, protocols, and surface coils.
- Administer contrast media under physician authorization/supervision, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education:
