Job Summary The Chief Technology Officer will define and lead the technology vision for the asset management business, enabling scalable growth, superior client and distributor experiences, operational efficiency, resilient platforms, and strong regulatory governance. The role will partner closely with business, investments, operations, risk, compliance, information security and group technology teams to convert strategic priorities into secure, reliable, and measurable technology outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the overall technology strategy, architecture roadmap, investment priorities, and delivery model in alignment with business growth objectives.
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and lifecycle management of core platforms, including digital client and distributor onboarding, transaction platforms, CRM, investment, fund attribution and servicing solutions.
- Drive enterprise automation across operations, including tax processing, reconciliations, regulatory workflows, exception management, maker-checker controls, and straight-through processing.
- Oversee customer and partner engagement channels, including web and mobile platforms, WhatsApp or chatbot-based servicing, self-service journeys, and assisted digital channels.
- Build and govern secure API integrations with distributors, RIAs, registrar and transfer agents, banking partners, market infrastructure institutions, fintechs, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Ensure solution architecture supports scalability, availability, performance, interoperability, maintainability, privacy and security by design.
- Oversee the technology delivery portfolio, including prioritisation, budgeting, resource planning, quality assurance, release governance, benefit tracking and executive reporting.
- Lead production reliability and service management, including technology incident oversight, root-cause analysis, problem management, capacity planning, patching, change management and prevention of recurrence.
- Own technology resilience, including business continuity and disaster recovery readiness, periodic drills,



backup and recovery controls and achievement of approved recovery objectives.
- Implement and monitor IT risk and control frameworks and ensure timely closure of technology observations arising from system audits, cyber audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and regulatory reviews.
- Ensure cloud and third-party technology deployments comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, information security standards, internal policies and approved architecture principles.
- Establish strong vendor governance covering selection, contracts, service levels, delivery quality, concentration risk, information security, continuity, cost optimisation and exit planning.
- Collaborate with business, product, investments, operations, finance, risk, compliance, and information security teams to translate requirements into prioritised and sustainable technology solutions.
- Monitor emerging technologies and fintech trends, including AI, automation, cloud-native services, data platforms, and digital assets, and evaluate their responsible applicability to the business.

Governance and Stakeholder Management
- Act as the senior technology partner to the CEO and leadership team, providing transparent updates on strategy, delivery, risk, incidents, resilience, investment, and business value.
- Participate in relevant technology, risk, audit, business continuity, and governance forums, and ensure decisions and action items are implemented within agreed timelines.
- Maintain effective engagement with regulators, auditors, trustees, partners, and internal control functions on technology matters, where required.
- Define measurable technology KPIs and KRAs covering delivery predictability, availability,



digital adoption, automation, security, control effectiveness, cost efficiency, and stakeholder outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- 15+ years of progressive technology experience in BFSI or fintech, including substantial leadership responsibility and strong exposure to asset management, mutual funds, PMS, AIF, or wealth management.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale digital transformation across onboarding, CRM, transaction platforms, mobile or web applications, data and analytics, and distributor or partner API ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience in platform architecture, systems integration, cloud adoption, data platforms, automation, cybersecurity collaboration, and production service management.
- Experience managing complex financial ecosystem integrations involving banks, distributors, RIAs, registrars, custodians, market infrastructure entities, and technology vendors.
- Strong understanding of technology governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, audit requirements, business continuity, disaster recovery, and third-party risk management in a regulated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technology teams, manage senior stakeholders, govern vendors and deliver multi-year portfolios within approved budgets and timelines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
