We are looking for a Credit Controller to manage credit risk and collections across our corporate clients, travel agencies and B2B partners, including overseas accounts in the UAE. You will own the receivables ledger end to end — from approving credit to collecting payment.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Risk Management
- Assess the creditworthiness of corporate clients, travel agencies and B2B partners.
- Set, review and adjust credit limits based on financial stability and payment history.
Collections
- Monitor ageing reports and follow up on overdue ticketing, hotel and tour invoices.
- Manage overseas collections, particularly from UAE-based clients.
- Negotiate structured payment plans for high-value corporate accounts and group bookings.
Account Reconciliation
- Reconcile customer ledgers, client deposits and supplier refunds.
- Process and apply receipts across bank transfers, credit cards and direct debits.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Key Account Managers and the Sales team to resolve billing disputes quickly.
- Report on overdue balances and credit risk to management.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable.
- Experience with overseas collections, especially from the UAE.
- Understanding of travel business segments — B2B API, inbound, outbound and visa services.
- Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail when handling high-volume ledgers.
- Candidates from a Travel & Tourism company will be preferred.
Important: This is a full time onsite position in Mumbai, India.
