About the organization

Applause Vadodara is an inclusive theatre company with an age-no-bar, gender-no-bar, language-no-bar philosophy to associate with theatre and art. Our mission is to engage, empower and entertain through innovative theatre experiences.

Founded in 2014, Applause Vadodara specializes in staging contemporary stories and devised productions, using methods of traditional and improvisation theatre. Art and theatre engagement shows and training programs run all year round, for all those keen in pursuing writing, acting, direction, film making, theatre making and allied creative work. Artists & facilitators from Applause have performed at various national, international platforms.

What is this role about?

? Communication & Social Media

- Developing content and managing social media across platforms
- Participating in marketing and sales for event promotions
- Managing digital inquiries and whatsapp communities (mostly posting)
- Managing data and arching of photographs and videography

? Creative Work & Ideas
- Brainstorming new workshop and programme ideas
- Researching theatre and cultural opportunities
- Working on collaborations
- Working with the Founder on recent projects

? Theatre & Programme Support
- Managing Volunteer groups for event




- Managing the operations such as registrations and attendance for workshops and shows
- Coordinating photographs, videos and documentation
- Helping with post-event content management and ideation on how to use the data.

Languages

- English: Strong spoken and written communication;
- Hindi: Comfortable/fluent
