(JD) – Covenant Monitoring & Portfolio Management Associate (NBFC)

Position: ConsultantDepartment: Wholesale Banking / Corporate Coverage (NBFC)Location: Bengaluru (Fortius Origin, Koramangala).

Role PurposeTo ensure timely monitoring, and closure of financial, non-financial, regulatory, and monitoring covenants for NBFC clients, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and clients to maintain compliance with sanctioned terms and credit monitoring requirements.Key Responsibilities· Monitor all Financial, Non-Financial, Regulatory, and Monitoring Covenants for NBFC clients.· Ensure timely collection, review, and closure of covenant-related documents and compliance requirements.· Regularly follow up with clients through emails and phone calls to obtain pending information/documents.· Coordinate with Relationship Managers (RMs), Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs), Credit, Operations, and other internal teams for timely covenant closure.· Actively engage with business teams to resolve pending covenant observations and close overdue cases within stipulated timelines.· Conduct Account Conduct Checks (ACC) for NBFC clients and identify any deviations or exceptions requiring attention.· Liaise with Legal, Compliance, Risk,



and Credit Teams to obtain approvals and clarifications required for covenant compliance.· Review submissions received from clients and ensure adherence to sanction terms, loan agreements, and regulatory requirements.· Support portfolio monitoring activities by identifying exceptions, documenting observations, and ensuring timely resolution.· Assist in audit, regulatory, and internal review requirements related to covenant monitoring and compliance.Required Skills & Competencies· Good analytical and documentation skills.· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and MIS preparation.· Solid stakeholder management and coordination abilities.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Ability to manage multiple cases and ensure timely follow-ups.Preferred ExperienceOpen to candidates with 1 to 4 years of banking experience as well as fresh graduates looking to start their careers in the banking industry.· Exposure to NBFC clients and post-disbursement monitoring activities will be preferred.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)· Timely closure of covenant exceptions.· Reduction in overdue covenant pendency’s.· Accuracy and timeliness of monitoring MIS.· Effective coordination with clients and internal stakeholders.· Compliance with regulatory and internal monitoring requirements.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
