Role Description The Counselor role at EkasCloud London is a full-time hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Counselor will guide prospective learners through EkasCloud’s cloud and AI programs, providing information on course offerings, career paths, and certification options, and helping individuals choose suitable training based on their backgrounds and goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, conducting counseling sessions (online and in-person), maintaining accurate records of interactions,



and following up with potential learners to support enrollment decisions.

The role also involves collaborating with trainers and the operations team to understand program updates, gathering feedback from learners, and contributing to improvements in counseling processes. The Counselor is expected to uphold a learner-centric, inclusive approach and represent EkasCloud’s mission of building industry-ready cloud professionals.

Qualifications

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical training paths in clear, accessible language.
- Experience in academic, career, or training counseling, preferably in IT, cloud computing, or professional education environments.
- Ability to assess learner needs, career goals, and skill gaps to recommend appropriate cloud, DevOps, or AI programs.
- Comfort with hybrid work, including conducting online sessions, using CRM or learner management tools, and maintaining detailed records.
- Understanding or awareness of cloud technologies, certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and industry trends is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in counseling, education, business, or IT is preferred.
