Purpose / Mission of the Role The Proposal & Estimation Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end preparation of techno-commercial proposals, accurate cost estimations, and risk evaluation for large EPC projects. This role requires strong coordination with cross-functional teams, deep understanding of engineering specifications, and the ability to deliver competitive, compliant, and high-quality bid

Role Responsibilties

1. Interpret and analyse client RFQs, specifications, and engineering documents.
2. Lead proposal preparation ensuring technical and commercial compliance.
3. Develop accurate cost estimations for materials, fabrication, engineering, and project execution.
4. Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management teams.
5. Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, commercial, and contractual risks.
6. Ensure proposals align with organizational pricing strategy and market competitiveness.
7. Engage with vendors for material specifications, pricing, and delivery conditions. 8. Lead internal CFT meetings, maintain SOP compliance,



and drive process improvements.

Technical Competencies

1. Robust knowledge of EPC processes, modular systems, and fabrication standards.
2. Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and commercial modelling.
3. Ability to understand engineering drawings, P&IDs;, and material standards.
4. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and estimation tools.
5. Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
6. Understanding of contract terms, Incoterms, taxes, and duties.
7. Vendor management and negotiation capabilities.
8. Ability to handle high workload and tight deadlines
9. Added advantage- knowledge of use of AI tools for efficient & productive work
