Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant / Cost Control professional who will be responsible for monitoring operational costs, site-level expenses, MIS reporting, P&L; management and financial controls. The role requires close coordination with operational teams and sites to ensure effective cost management and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Control & Monitoring

- Closely monitor operational expenses and identify areas of cost leakage or unnecessary expenditure.
- Track and control site-wise costs and ensure expenses remain within approved budgets.
- Monitor electricity and utility expenses across sites and identify variances.
- Analyse cost trends and provide actionable inputs to management.
- MIS & P&L; Management Prepare and maintain monthly MIS reports covering operational costs, revenues and profitability.
- Assist in preparation, monitoring and management of monthly P&L; statements.
- Analyse actual vs. budgeted expenses and highlight significant variances.
- Provide regular financial and operational reports to senior management.

Site & Operational Coordination

- Closely coordinate with various operational sites for cost monitoring and reporting.
- Supervise and review site-level financial/operational data.
- Ensure timely collection and validation of expense and operational information from sites.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with site teams regarding discrepancies and pending data.

Audit & Compliance





- Coordinate with CA firms / external auditors for site audits and financial reviews.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing accurate records and documentation.
- Verify expenses, supporting documents and financial entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Data Management & Reporting Maintain accurate financial and operational data.
- Perform regular data entry, reconciliation and verification.
- Ensure timely updating of financial records and MIS databases.
- Identify discrepancies in data and coordinate with concerned teams for resolution.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of cost accounting and cost control
- Good knowledge of P&L; and financial reporting
- Experience in MIS preparation and analysis Experience in site-level cost/expense monitoring
- Good Excel and data-handling skills
- Ability to analyse financial data and identify variances
- Good coordination and follow-up skills
- Experience dealing with CA firms/auditors
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work closely with operational/site teams

Candidate Profile

- Candidate should have 5to 9 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, finance operations, cost control, MIS or a similar role.
- Candidates with B.Com and CA Inter / relevant qualified finance qualifications and good practical exposure to P&L; management, site audits, cost monitoring and operational finance would be preferred.
