Company Description FUEL (Friends Union for Energizing Lives) is a non-profit organization that has been driving youth empowerment across India for over 18 years through skill development, STEM education, scholarships, and career counseling. Founded by Ashoka Fellow Ketan Deshpande, FUEL has reached 18 states, trained nearly 300,000 individuals in future skills, and counseled over 900,000 students.

The organization provides targeted scholarships for BBA and MBA courses, helping underrepresented learners access quality higher education. Supported by more than 76 corporate donors, FUEL is now advancing toward launching FUEL International Skill Tech University to build specialized schools focused on future-ready skills. Role Description The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring CSR programs aligned with FUEL’s mission and partner commitments, including education, skills development, and scholarship initiatives.

The CSR Manager will coordinate with corporate donors, educational institutions, and internal teams to plan projects, track outcomes, and report on impact. Day-to-day tasks include stakeholder communication, proposal development, budgeting and timelines, data collection and analysis for program performance, and preparation of impact reports and presentations.



The role also involves organizing employee engagement activities, events, and volunteering programs, while ensuring compliance with relevant CSR regulations and fostering long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Corporate Social Responsibility knowledge and experience, including CSR program design, implementation, and impact measurement.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including stakeholder management, report writing, and presentation abilities.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management capabilities, including planning, budgeting, coordination, and timely execution of initiatives.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, impact evaluation, and continuous improvement of CSR programs.
- Candidates should possess experience in Employee Engagement, including designing and managing volunteering activities and internal CSR campaigns.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, management, public policy, development studies, or a related field.
- Experience working with NGOs, corporates, or CSR consulting organizations, especially in education, skill development, or youth-focused programs, is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, work on-site in Pune City, and manage multiple projects in a rapid-paced, impact-oriented environment.
