We are looking for an experienced Corporate Finance professional to help build challenging evaluation tasks for advanced AI agents.
The project focuses on a simple question:
Can an AI agent make the same kind of financial judgment that an experienced finance professional would make when faced with complex and conflicting business records?
You will design realistic synthetic-company scenarios using financial models, management reports, contracts, board materials, transaction documents, and other corporate records. You will then create tasks that require the AI to investigate the evidence, resolve conflicts, and produce a professional financial deliverable.
What You'll Work On
- Design realistic corporate finance scenarios and company environments.
- Create complex financial situations involving conflicting or misleading records.
- Identify realistic judgment points where a competent finance professional could make a mistake.
- Design hidden "traps" that test reasoning rather than simple information retrieval.
- Create 10 independent finance evaluation tasks across multiple workflows.
- Define the correct financial conclusion and expected output for each task.
- Design realistic stakeholder disagreements and business decision scenarios.
- Review financial logic, calculations, assumptions, and internal consistency.
- Work with analysts and AI/automation teams to structure the scenarios and supporting records.
Your Background
We are particularly interested in professionals with experience in:
- 5 years of professional finance experience
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of financial statements and corporate finance
- Ability to investigate conflicting information and make sound professional judgments
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written communication
- Experience with US GAAP or IFRS
- Ability to create realistic finance scenarios rather than textbook exercises
Nice to Have
- Big 4 experience
- Investment banking or transaction advisory experience
- Financial due diligence experience
- Corporate development or strategic finance experience
- Experience working with US companies / US GAAP
