Wirality

Bengaluru

About Wirality A new breed of agency that’s independent, brave, and growth-driven.

Our fundamental belief is rooted in ART x MATH - an integrated approach where creative excellence meets media intelligence to deliver incrementally higher ROI.

Infused with a digital-first DNA and an entrepreneurial spirit, we operate with speed, ownership, and conviction. Being independent allows us to break convention, pivot quickly, and win in an ever-changing market.

About The Role

Wirality is building a new social-first creative team designed for the way brands need to communicate today - faster, more frequently and across more formats, audiences and platforms.

We’re looking for a Copywriter who understands that good copy today isn’t limited to headlines, captions and taglines.

You should be able to turn an observation into an idea, an idea into a script, and a brand thought into something people would actually want to watch, share or talk about.

You’ll work across brands, categories and platforms, developing everything from social-first concepts and campaigns to scripts, topical content, creator-led ideas and everyday brand communication.

Most importantly, you should be able to walk into a new brand, understand its personality quickly and start writing in its voice, without making every brand sound like you.

The job is ultimately about knowing what to say, how to say it and when to say it.

What You’ll Do

- Write & Ideate
- Develop social-first concepts, campaign ideas, scripts, captions, hooks, headlines, topical content and creator-led communication.
- Turn briefs, consumer observations and insights into sharp creative ideas.
- Develop multiple creative routes instead of settling for the first obvious thought.
- Write across short-form video, statics, carousels, creator content and campaigns while keeping the core idea strong.
- Participate actively in brainstorms and contribute beyond the copy requirement of a brief.
- Crack Brand Tonality

Every brand shouldn’t sound like it hired the same copywriter.

You’ll Be Expected To

- Understand a new brand quickly and identify its distinct voice.
- Adapt your writing across categories, audiences and brand personalities.
- Make communication feel natural to the brand rather than making every brand sound like an agency.
- Know when the writing needs to be witty, sharp, emotional, conversational, irreverent or simply direct.

- Build consistency in how a brand speaks across formats and platforms.
- Live on the Internet

This is important. We want someone who is genuinely plugged into what people are watching, sharing and talking about.

You Should

- Be deeply familiar with social media, creators, trends, memes and internet culture.
- Spot cultural moments and understand where a brand can participate meaningfully and where it shouldn’t.
- Understand why a format, trend or piece of content is working instead of simply copying it.
- Constantly bring engaging references, observations and cultural insights into the creative process.
- Have an instinct for what feels native to Instagram, YouTube and emerging social formats.
- Write Across Languages & Cultures

We are particularly interested in writers who can think across languages rather than simply translate between them.
- Strong command over English and Kannada is important.
- Hindi is an advantage.
- Understand that good regional communication is not an English copy translated into another language.
- Write the way people actually speak.
- Adapt humour, slang, dialogue and cultural references to the audience.
- Be comfortable thinking in one language and cracking the idea in another.
- Write for Video

A large part of the work we do is increasingly video-first.

You Should Be Comfortable

- Writing scripts for short-form social content.
- Developing hooks that earn attention quickly.
- Writing dialogue that sounds like something a real person would actually say.
- Thinking about pacing, scenes and visual storytelling, not just words on a page.
- Writing for creators and actors without making them sound like advertisements.
- Working with creative and production teams to improve an idea from script to final output.
- Make the Work Better

The first draft is rarely the final draft. You’ll work closely with creative strategists, designers, creators, account teams and production teams to develop and sharpen ideas.

That Means Being Comfortable With

- Feedback.
- Rewriting.

- Killing an idea when a better one comes along.
- Testing different hooks and approaches.
- Looking at how content performs and understanding what can be learned from it.
- Caring more about making the work better than protecting your first thought.

What We’re Looking For You should ideally have 2–3 years of experience in copywriting, creative, advertising, social media or a similar role. More Importantly, You Should Be Someone Who

- Can crack a new brand’s tonality quickly.
- Is naturally curious and constantly consuming content.
- Knows what is happening on the internet without needing a trends presentation to tell you.
- Can write something clever without trying too hard to sound clever.
- Understands the difference between a trend, an observation and an actual insight.
- Can turn an insight into an idea rather than stopping at the insight.
- Can write dialogue that sounds human.
- Understands social media as a creative medium, not just a distribution channel.
- Can move comfortably between Kannada and English, with Hindi being a bonus.
- Can take feedback without being precious about the first idea.
- Can work at the pace that social media demands.
- Has a portfolio that demonstrates range across brands, formats and writing styles.

What We Care About We care less about the title you’ve previously held and more about how you think, what you notice and what you can make. Show us work that made us laugh.

Show us something that made people stop scrolling.
