Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cook role based in Bengaluru. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to established menus, dietary guidelines, and portion standards, with attention to nutrition and food safety. Daily tasks include organizing ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas, and ensuring timely meal service.

The Cook will collaborate with nutrition and healthcare staff to accommodate specific dietary requirements, such as low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, and allergy-sensitive meals. The role also involves monitoring inventory,



assisting with ordering supplies, and following all health, safety, and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

- Professional cooking skills, including meal preparation, food presentation, and basic baking or grilling techniques
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation practices
- Experience preparing meals that meet nutritional and dietary guidelines, preferably in healthcare or institutional settings
- Ability to manage time effectively, work in a fast-paced workplace, and coordinate multiple dishes simultaneously
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen, nutrition, and healthcare staff
- Basic inventory management skills, including tracking ingredients and assisting with procurement of supplies
- Prior experience as a Cook or Assistant Cook in a hospital, clinic, cafeteria, or similar setting is preferred
- Relevant culinary training or certification from a recognized institute is an advantage
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace for colleagues and customers
