Advertisement for the Contractual Position of Senior Research Associate /

Research Associate ‘A’ or ‘B’ / Senior Research Assistant

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one position of Senior Research

Associate/Research Associate ‘A’ or ‘B’/Senior Research Assistant in the Strategic

Management Areaunder Professor Dhirendra Mani Shukla at the IIM Lucknow.

Eligibility Criteria and Job Specification:

Minimum qualifications:

1. The candidate must possess the minimum qualification prescribed for the respective position

as below, preferably in Management or a relevant field, demonstrating solid research competence and subject expertise. Remuneration will be offered within the specified range and will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Education and Work Experience:

i) Senior Research Associate: A Ph.D. with a minimum of three years of post-PhD research experience is required.

ii) Research Associate ‘A’: A Ph.D. with a minimum of two years of post-PhD research experience is required.

iii) Research Associate ‘B’: A Ph.D. is required.

iv) Senior Research Assistant: Postgraduate degree with a minimum of two years of relevant post-qualification experience.

1. An excellent academic record with First Class performance throughout, including

Postgraduation in Management, Entrepreneurship, Social Sciences, or related subjects from a reputed institute or university, completed in regular mode.

Desirable Requirements:

1. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in primary/field data collection and

analysis
1. Proficiency in Excel and STATA/R and/or Atlas.ti/NVivo.
2. At least one research publication in a peer-reviewed journal, national or international,

reflecting the ability to conduct independent research.



Preference shall be given to candidates who have demonstrated research experience in publishing high-quality research papers in reputed (ABDC A and above) journals.

Job Specification:

Assisting the faculty member in research, including but not limited to conducting literature reviews, conceptualizing, designing and conducting research projects, primary and secondary data collection and analysis, and writing academic reports and research papers.

Emoluments:

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship in the range of

Rs.50,000/- to Rs.70,000/-, depending upon qualifications and relevant experience, plus HRA as per applicable norms.

1. The position is purely contractual in nature. The candidate selected for the above post

will be appointed on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year, which may be extended further based on performance and institute requirements.
