Role Description The Contracts Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for supporting the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and processing sales, vendor, and partner agreements in accordance with company policies.
Day-to-day tasks include coordinating contract approvals, maintaining accurate contract records, tracking key terms and dates, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role collaborates closely with sales, finance, legal, and operations teams to resolve contract issues, manage amendments and renewals, and help streamline contract workflows.
The Contracts
Administrator also contributes to continuous improvement of contract templates, processes, and documentation to support effective enterprise execution.
Qualifications
- Strong contract administration skills, including drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial agreements.
- Proficiency in maintaining contract databases or CLM tools and managing document version control.
- Solid understanding of basic legal and business terminology related to contracts, compliance, and risk.
- Ability to interpret contractual terms, identify issues, and escalate risks appropriately.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Comfort with using productivity and collaboration software (e.g., CRM systems, Excel, document management tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, or a related field; prior experience in contract administration or legal operations is preferred.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology company, and familiarity with international contracts, is an advantage.
