Shah Coal Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract & Tender Manager to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate contracts and public/private tenders. You will protect the organization from risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate across multiple internal departments to secure and execute high-value business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender & Bid Management

- Review complex tender documents and identify relevant commercial opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end portal submissions on platforms like GeM, CPPP, and other e-procurement systems.
- Coordinate, pack, and submit highly compliant technical and commercial proposals before deadlines.
- Handle post-submission tasks, including clarifications, client follow-ups, and final award documentation.

Contract Drafting & Negotiation

- Write, evaluate, and revise commercial agreements, statements of work, and vendor terms.
- Lead contract negotiations with external partners and stakeholders to secure favorable, legally sound terms.
- Manage change orders, amendments, and close-out procedures as business needs shift.

Compliance & Risk Management

- Identify potential legal or financial liabilities in bids and active contracts.
- Track active obligations, deliverables, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance.




- Resolve contract disputes and maintain an organized, centralized register of all active agreements.
- Monitor contract renewal, extension, or termination dates proactively.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Strategy

- Collaborate closely with sales, technical, finance, and commercial teams to gather bid data.
- Monitor market and competitor activity to optimize bidding strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Age criteria - More than 40 years preferred
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in tendering, bidding, proposals, or procurement.
- Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with e-procurement portals (GeM, CPPP) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software. High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Business Acumen: Robust understanding of contract law, financial metrics, corporate policies, and analytical problem-solving.
- Soft Skills: Excepterional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to bridge gaps between technical, legal, and operational teams.
