Job Title: Content & YouTube Producer

Full time | Chennai (In-person)

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who wants to be on the mission of one of India’s best creator brands-not just manage social media.

You’ll work directly with the founder to turn ideas into engaging video content, from YouTube films and Instagram videos to newsletters and creative launches. In the beginning, you’ll be hands-on with video creation and execution. Over time, you’ll develop the ability to think like an editorial director, producer, and strategist, with the opportunity to grow into leading the entire content operation.

What You’ll Do

Content Strategy & Planning

- Help develop YouTube video ideas and content series.
- Research audience interests, trends, and competitors.
- Build and maintain the weekly and monthly content calendar.
- Decide how long-form content can be repurposed across platforms.

Production

- Plan shoots, locations, props, and logistics.
- Attend shoots and ensure everything needed is captured.
- Coordinate with camera operators, editors, designers, and freelancers.
- Keep productions on schedule.

Editorial

- Review video edits before founder approval.
- Give clear, actionable feedback to editors.
- Help improve pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention.
- Maintain quality standards across every piece of content.

Distribution

- Plan YouTube publishing schedules.
- Manage Community posts, Instagram Reels, carousels, and newsletters.




- Ensure every piece of content has a purpose and fits the broader strategy.

Systems & Operations

- Organize footage, files, and project documentation.
- Build SOPs that make production smoother.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve workflows.
- Track analytics and recommend improvements.

Who We’re Looking For

- 1–2 years of experience in content creation, filmmaking, production, or social media.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written communication.
- Good storytelling instincts.
- Basic familiarity with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Comfortable coordinating multiple moving parts.
- Curious enough to ask “How can this be better?” instead of waiting for instructions.

What Success Looks Like Within your first year, you’ll be able to:

- Run the content calendar independently.
- Coordinate shoots without constant supervision.
- Review edits confidently.
- Turn one YouTube video into a complete multi-platform content rollout.
- Build systems that make the team faster every month.

Compensation

- Salary: ₹45,000–₹60,000 per month (depending on experience and potential).
- Clear growth path toward Senior Content Producer, Content Director, and eventually Head of Content.

Note We’re not looking for someone who already knows everything about YouTube.
