Through our proven program design, we work to identify, skill and empower youth through a combination of skills training, career counselling support, and corporate linkages. This role calls for an organized, detailed-oriented, analytical, and empathetic approach to work.

Role Overview -

The Content Writer will develop, review, and customize training curriculum and learning materials for young adults. You will bridge the gap between technical subject matter experts (SMEs) and learners. Your focus will be on creating highly engaging, easy-to-understand content for technical courses e.g. Electric Vehicles (EV), Solar Energy, and Drones, alongside critical Employability Skills

(soft skills, workplace readiness, communication).

Role & responsibilities -

Content Creation & Customization:

- Draft highly interactive training-learning aids including but not limited to participant workbooks, and facilitator guides.
- Customize technical jargon from engineering/industry sources into relatable, bite-sized lessons for young adults.
- Develop practical assessment modules, quizzes, and project-based assignments to test student skills.
- Integrate digital learning elements (like scripts for animated videos or simulation guides) into the curriculum.

Review & Quality Assurance:

- Audit existing training materials to ensure they meet contemporary industry standards, national skill council guidelines etc.




- Review content for clarity, tone, accessibility, and engagement, ensuring it resonates with learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Edit content regularly based on feedback from trainers, field teams, and student performance metrics.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

- Internal Team & SME Alignment: Partner closely with internal program managers, life skills trainers, and external technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex industry knowledge into student-friendly, classroom-ready lessons.
- Trainer & Student Feedback Loops: Actively engage with field trainers and young adult students through focus groups, classroom observations, and feedback sessions to identify content gaps and continuously improve learning outcomes.

Employer & Industry Validation: Collaborate with external industry partners, employers, and placement teams to ensure the curriculum reflects real-world workplace demands, current hiring trends, and practical skills needed on the job.

Preferred candidate profile -

- Experience: 3 to 5 years in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational content writing (specifically for skill development or vocational training).
- Technical Adaptability: The ability to quickly grasp and explain technical concepts (EV, Solar, Green Tech, Drone tech)



without necessarily being an engineer.
- Audience Understanding: A strong grasp of how young adults learn, with an ability to keep training materials visual, practical, and experiential.
- Clarity: Excellent command of English and the ability to simplify highly technical concepts into universal, easy-to-read language.
- Digital Tools: Proficiency in everyday software like MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Canva, along with a working knowledge of AI tools (like ChatGPT or Claude) to streamline content brainstorming and research.
- Multimedia Scripting: Experience writing scripts for instructional videos, animated explainers, or interactive simulations.
