About Pension Bazaar

Pension Bazaar is building a consumer-first platform to simplify retirement planning and help Indians make smarter decisions around NPS, retirement planning, pension products and long-term investments.

We are looking for a sharp, curious and digitally savvy Content Specialist who can turn complex financial and retirement-planning concepts into content that is straightforward, trustworthy, useful and action-oriented.

What you will do

- Own end-to-end content creation across NPS, retirement planning, pension schemes and related financial products.
- Research topics, understand search intent and create content that answers what users actually want to know.
- Write SEO-led articles, explainers, guides, landing pages, FAQs, comparison pages and product content.
- Simplify complex financial concepts without compromising on accuracy.
- Create content designed for both traditional search and AI/AEO discovery.
- Identify content opportunities through keyword research, competitor analysis, SERP analysis and content-gap research.
- Work closely with SEO, Product, Business and Design teams to create content that drives both organic visibility and leads.
- Refresh and optimize existing content based on rankings, traffic, engagement and conversion performance.
- Ensure content follows appropriate financial-services compliance and accuracy standards.
- Build topical authority around retirement and pension-related subjects through structured content clusters.
- Stay updated on changes in NPS, PFRDA regulations, taxation, retirement products and government schemes.

What we're looking for

- 36 years of experience in digital content, preferably in fintech, BFSI, insurance, investments or personal finance.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals search intent, keyword research, on-page SEO, internal linking, content structure and SERPs.




- Excellent writing and editing skills with an ability to make complicated subjects feel ridiculously simple.
- Strong research skills and the ability to work with data, government/regulatory sources and credible financial information.
- Understanding of Google Search, AI Overviews/AEO and how content is evolving for AI-led discovery.
- Ability to write for different stages of the funnel — informational, consideration and conversion.
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, Google Trends and AI tools.
- High attention to detail, particularly around numbers, financial terminology and factual accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple content projects and deliver at scale.

Good to have

- Experience writing about NPS, mutual funds, insurance, taxation, retirement planning or investments.
- Experience managing or contributing to a large SEO content programme.
- Understanding of content analytics and using performance data to improve content.
- Experience with AI-assisted content workflows, AEO/GEO and structured content.
- Basic understanding of HTML/content CMSs.

What success looks like In this role, success isn't just “we published 300 articles.” You will be expected to help Pension Bazaar:

- Build topical authority in pensions and retirement planning
- Grow rankings and organic traffic for high-intent keywords
- Improve Top 5 keyword visibility
- Increase visibility across AI search/AEO
- Generate qualified organic leads
- Improve existing content performance through continuous optimisation
- Build a scalable content engine without compromising quality

The ideal candidate A strong writer + SEO thinker + obsessive researcher + financial-content nerd. Someone who can look at a complicated NPS regulation and say:

“Okay, but what does this actually mean for the person reading it?”

And then explain it in a way that is accurate enough for BFSI, simple enough for a first-time investor, and useful enough to make them take the next step.
