About the Role

ModernEdge Technologies is looking for an experienced Gaming Content Writer to join our SEO and content team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience creating high-quality, search-focused content for gaming websites, particularly in competitive international markets.

This role requires someone who understands both content quality and SEO performance and can create content that is engaging for users while supporting organic search growth.

The candidate will work closely with the SEO Manager, SEO Specialists, and Content Team to develop and execute content strategies across multiple gaming websites and projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Gaming Content Creation

- Write high-quality, engaging and informative content for gaming websites.
- Create content covering gaming platforms, games, guides, reviews, bonuses, features, comparisons, and related topics.
- Develop long-form SEO articles, landing pages, comparison pages, guides, FAQs and supporting content.
- Adapt writing style and tone according to different websites, brands and target audiences.
- Ensure content is accurate, well-structured, original and valuable to the target audience.

1. SEO Content Writing

- Create content based on keyword research, search intent and SEO briefs.
- Naturally incorporate primary, secondary and semantic keywords.
- Optimize headings, introductions, content structure, FAQs and internal linking opportunities.
- Understand search intent and create content aligned with different stages of the user journey.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to improve existing content based on ranking and performance data.
- Refresh and expand existing content to improve relevance and organic visibility.

1. Gaming & Competitive Research

- Conduct research on gaming websites, competitors and industry trends.
- Analyse competitor content, page structures, topics and content gaps.
- Identify opportunities for new content and content expansion.
- Stay updated with gaming industry developments,



terminology and audience trends.

1. Content Quality & Editorial Standards

- Maintain excellent grammar, readability, structure and consistency.
- Ensure content is factually accurate and properly researched.
- Follow internal editorial guidelines, SEO briefs and brand requirements.
- Edit and proofread content before submission.
- Ensure content is original and free from plagiarism.
- Maintain consistency across large-scale content projects.

1. Collaboration With SEO Team

- Work directly with SEO Managers and Specialists to execute content strategies.
- Understand content priorities, target keywords and ranking objectives.
- Deliver content according to agreed deadlines and publishing schedules.
- Take feedback from SEO and editorial teams and implement revisions efficiently.
- Contribute ideas for improving content performance and overall website growth.

1. Content Performance & Optimization

- Review existing content and identify optimization opportunities.
- Assist in improving underperforming pages based on SEO and ranking data.
- Support content audits, content pruning and content refresh projects.
- Understand how content quality, topical relevance, internal linking and search intent influence organic performance.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of professional content writing experience.
- Proven experience writing for gaming, iGaming, casino, betting, affiliate or similarly competitive industries.
- Strong understanding of SEO content writing.
- Excellent written English and communication skills.
- Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
- Excellent grammar, vocabulary and readability.
- Ability to write both short-form and long-form content.
- Understanding of keyword research and search intent.
- Ability to work with SEO content briefs.




- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple websites and content assignments simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
