Role Description

Manage and grow SEO for multiple Lokmangal websites and digital properties

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies

Conduct keyword research, including Marathi, English and regional search queries

Build SEO-friendly website content, landing pages, topic clusters and FAQs

Identify recent Lokmangal-related information that should be published online

Continuously expand website content around institutions, initiatives, programs, events, education, agriculture, finance and social work

Improve internal linking and website architecture

Develop high-quality and relevant backlink strategies

Handle technical SEO, indexing, crawlability, sitemap, robots.txt, canonicalisation, schema and Core Web Vitals

Optimise content for Google Search, Local Search, AEO and emerging AI/GEO search





Work on entity SEO and help search engines/AI systems better understand Lokmangal entities and their relationships

Manage Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation

Monitor Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush and other SEO tools

Track rankings, organic traffic, indexing, backlinks and content performance

Coordinate with writers, developers and the creative team to implement SEO requirements

We’re Looking For Someone Who

Has 2–5+ years of practical SEO experience

Has strong Technical SEO + Content SEO knowledge

Has experience ranking regional/Marathi content

Understands keyword research and search intent

Has experience with internal linking and backlink building

Understands AEO, GEO and AI-driven search

Can independently conduct website SEO audits

Is comfortable working with WordPress/CMS

Has experience with Google Search Console and GA4

Has worked with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Trends and Keyword Planner

Can think beyond individual keywords and build topical authority The Kind of Person We Want
