ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Meclusions Studio is developing a new digital streaming and original-content platform focused on Sanatana, Hinduism, Bharat's history, culture, traditions, spirituality and lesser-explored Indian stories.
Hindustan ki Desi Kahaniyaan — High Production Quality ke tadke ke saath.
We are looking for a Content Strategy & Development Executive who can help transform interesting subjects and raw ideas into watchable, repeatable and producible content formats.
This is not simply a research position.
We want someone who can look at a subject and think:
“There is a story here. How can we turn it into a show?”
You will work between Research, Creative Development and Production, helping the senior creative team develop ideas before they enter full production.
_______________________________________________
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will help develop content across:
- Original OTT shows
- Documentaries
- Yatra / travel formats
- Interview shows
- Cultural programming
- Historical storytelling
- Sanatana / Hinduism content
- Animated series
- AI-assisted storytelling
- Youth-oriented content
- Short-form digital content
- Educational / knowledge-based programming
- Special episodes and events
Your responsibility will be to help convert: IDEA → CONCEPT → FORMAT → SERIES → EPISODES → PRODUCTION PLAN
_______________________________________________
DEVELOPING CONTENT IDEAS
You may receive a simple idea such as:
“Let's make a show about India's ancient temples.”
Your job will be to help develop it into something much more specific:
Possible format
Series: India's Living Temples
Episode structure
- Episode 1 — Temple
- Episode 2 — Temple
- Episode 3 — Temple
- etc.
Story structure History → Architecture → Tradition → People → Unknown Story → Present Day
Audience Who is this actually for?
Differentiation Why should somebody watch our version when hundreds of videos already exist? This is the kind of thinking we expect from this role.
_______________________________________________
FORMAT DEVELOPMENT
You will help develop repeatable formats rather than isolated videos. For example:
YATRA A presenter visits a location and explores:
Place → History → Temple → Tradition → People → Food → Local Story → Lesser-known Fact
INTERVIEW
Develop a repeatable structure for conversations with:
- Scholars
- Saints
- Artists
- Historians
- Authors
- Temple administrators
- Researchers
- Practitioners
- Interesting personalities
DOCUMENTARY
Develop
Subject → Central Question → Research → Characters → Locations → Interviews → Visual Story → Conclusion
ANIMATION
Help convert
Story → Characters → World → Episodes → Visual Style → Production Requirements
You do not need to be the final writer, director or producer.
You need to help shape the idea so those departments can execute it.
_______________________________________________
SERIES DEVELOPMENT A major part of your work will be asking:
“Can this idea sustain a series?”
For promising subjects, you may develop:
- Series title
- One-line concept
- Logline
- Target audience
- Format
- Episode count
- Episode themes
- Episode summaries
- Presenter requirements
- Expert requirements
- Location requirements
- Visual approach
- Approximate production complexity
- Potential future seasons
For example:
Subject: Bhagavad Gita
Instead of simply saying
》“Make a show on Bhagavad Gita.”
You may develop multiple possible approaches:
A. One concept per episode
B. Modern-life problems explained through selected teachings
C. Scholar-led discussion
D. Animated storytelling
E. Historical/contextual documentary
F. Youth-oriented format The senior creative team can then decide which direction deserves development.
_______________________________________________
EPISODE DEVELOPMENT
Once a format is approved, you may help create:
- Episode lists
- Episode titles
- Episode concepts
- Story outlines
- Segment structures
- Opening hooks
- Interview questions
- Research requirements
- Visual requirements
- Location requirements
- Guest requirements
- Approximate episode duration
You should be able to take:
“We need 10 episodes.”
and turn it into:
“Here are 10 genuinely different episodes, and here is why each one deserves to exist.”
_______________________________________________
CONTENT CALENDAR & PROGRAMMING
You may also assist in building the platform's content pipeline. For example:
WEEKLY
- Interviews
- Short-form content
- Yatra / cultural content
MONTHLY
- One substantial documentary
- Special cultural programming
ONGOING
- Animated series
- AI-assisted content
- Explainers
- Original formats
You will help ensure that the platform does not become dependent on producing random videos. We want a structured content pipeline. _______________________________________________
CONTENT MIX
You will help think about the balance between:
FLAGSHIP CONTENT
Higher-investment documentaries, series and special productions.
REGULAR CONTENT
Repeatable interview, Yatra, cultural and knowledge formats.
LOW-COST CONTENT
Short-form, explainers, AI-assisted productions and other economical formats.
The objective is to help create a sustainable content engine rather than spending the entire budget on a few large productions.
_______________________________________________
AUDIENCE THINKING
Content development must consider the audience.
You may work with our Content Research & Audience Insights function to understand:
- What people are searching for
- What people are watching
- What questions audiences are asking
- What competing content already exists
- What subjects appear underserved
- Which ideas deserve further development
However, audience data is an input—not the entire creative decision. Some valuable stories may have limited existing search volume precisely because they have not yet been presented well.
You should therefore combine
Research + Audience Understanding + Creative Thinking + Production Reality
_______________________________________________
CONTENT DIFFERENTIATION
We do not want to simply reproduce what is already available on YouTube. For every major concept, ask:
What is our reason for making this?
Can we provide
- A different story?
- A different presenter?
- Better research?
- Better visuals?
- Better storytelling?
- A fresh perspective?
- A previously unexplored location?
- A new animation approach?
- A youth-friendly presentation?
- Better production quality?
Your job is to help identify that content proposition. _______________________________________________
AI & MODERN CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
AI will be an important part of our development workflow. You may use AI to assist with:
- Brainstorming
- Format exploration
- Episode ideation
- Story structures
- Research organisation
- Competitor analysis
- Treatment development
- Character/story development
- Concept visualisation
- Mood boards
- Pitch documents
- Content calendars
- Alternative creative approaches
However AI is a development assistant, not a substitute for human judgement.
Important historical, religious and cultural information must be properly researched and verified.
_______________________________________________
WORKING WITH THE CREATIVE TEAM
You will work closely with:
- Creative Head
- Director / Senior Creative Team
- Researchers
- Scriptwriters
- Editors
- Animators
- AI Artists
- Graphic Artists
- Videographers
- Production team
You may be asked to take a rough idea from a senior creative and turn it into a clear development document that other departments can understand. _______________________________________________
