ROLE OVERVIEW

IKIZEN Consulting is looking for a curious, analytical and dependable professional who can work closely with the Founder & Principal Consultant and support the execution of client assignments as well as the growth of the firm.

This is a hands-on role combining consulting project execution, analysis, client coordination, documentation, knowledge and product development, and business development support. It will suit someone who enjoys variety, can convert ambiguity into structure, and is comfortable moving between client conversations, Excel, PowerPoint and disciplined follow-through.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client & Project Support

- Support consulting assignments from diagnosis through implementation and review.
- Conduct process walkthroughs, document current practices and map workflows.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative information to identify gaps, patterns and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare meeting notes, project plans, trackers, reports, presentations and client-ready documentation.
- Coordinate with client stakeholders, follow up on actions and help maintain momentum across assignments.
- Support workshops, interviews, assessments and review meetings, including preparation and post-session follow-through.

Business Excellence & Analytics

- Support process improvement, business excellence, transformation, PMO and governance assignments.
- Help define processes, roles, ownership, decision rights, KPIs and review mechanisms.




- Conduct research, audits or assessments and contribute to root-cause analysis and solution design.
- Work with data to create meaningful analysis, dashboards and management insights.
- Track implementation progress and highlight delays, risks, dependencies and decisions required.

Knowledge, Products & Communication

- Develop and maintain consulting frameworks, templates, toolkits, reports and workshop material.
- Create clear, well-structured presentations that simplify complex information and tell a strong story.
- Support the development of IKIZEN’s programs, workshops, products, marketing content and creatives.
- Maintain organized, accurate and current project and knowledge documentation.

Business Development Support

- Research prospective clients, industries and business opportunities.
- Support proposals, credentials, outreach material, follow-ups and pipeline tracking.
- Participate in selected client conversations and help translate needs into structured problem statements.
- Contribute ideas for strengthening IKIZEN’s offerings, visibility and client experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience & Background

- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience; exceptional candidates with slightly less experience may also be considered.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: process excellence, operational excellence, business excellence, quality, internal audit, consulting, PMO, transformation or data analytics.
- Graduate or postgraduate, qualification in engineering, management preferred
- Exposure to client-facing work, business analysis or improvement projects will be an advantage.
- Relevant certification or formal training in Lean Six Sigma, quality or process excellence,



business excellence assessment, project management or data analytics will be an advantage.

Core Capabilities

- Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to identify the real issue behind the visible symptom.
- Ability to work with incomplete information, ask thoughtful questions and convert ambiguity into a clear plan.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation capability—not only making slides, but structuring the message and simplifying information.
- Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and quality of output.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments and work with limited supervision.
- Comfort with learning new tools, including digital and AI-enabled productivity tools.

GROWTH OPPORTUNITY The role is designed to grow with IKIZEN. With robust performance, the person can progressively take independent ownership of workstreams, client interactions and consulting assignments, and develop towards a Consultant – Business Excellence & Transformation role.
