Role Description The Consulting Doctor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hubli-Dharwad. The consulting doctor will conduct detailed patient consultations, including medical history review, scalp and hair assessments, and eligibility evaluation for hair transplant and restoration procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing treatment plans, explaining procedures and expected outcomes, obtaining informed consent, and coordinating with surgeons and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient care.

The role also involves post-procedure follow-up, monitoring recovery, adjusting treatment as needed, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with clinical and regulatory standards. The consulting doctor will contribute to quality improvement initiatives,



uphold infection control protocols, and participate in patient education and awareness activities.

Qualifications

- Medical qualifications such as MBBS,BHMS,BAMS with valid registration; specialization in dermatology, trichology, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment planning, preferably in dermatology, cosmetology, or hair restoration.
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills, including the ability to explain procedures, risks, benefits, and post-care in explicit, empathetic language.
- Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, nursing staff, and clinic administrators, maintaining a professional and respectful team environment.
- Commitment to clinical ethics, patient safety, infection control, and adherence to relevant medical guidelines and regulations.
- Comfort with documenting cases, maintaining electronic or paper medical records, and following clinic protocols and workflows.
- Willingness to continuously update knowledge on hair transplant techniques, hair loss treatments, and related medical advancements.
- Proficiency in English and local languages is an advantage, along with strong organizational and time-management skills.
