Telemedicine & Digital Healthcare Access Initiative – Chennai

Role Purpose

Empanelled doctors will provide real-time remote medical consultation to registered patients through the telemedicine platform. They will review patient history, symptoms and test readings, provide clinical advice, diagnosis, digital prescriptions, referral advice and follow-up instructions.

Qualification & Experience

MBBS / Registered Medical Practitioner with valid registration under the National Medical Commission or relevant State Medical Council. Experience in general OPD, family medicine, primary healthcare, community health or telemedicine will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct live audio / video teleconsultations.
- Review patient history, symptoms, risk factors and basic test readings.
- Interpret screening readings and identify high-risk cases.
- Provide medical advice, diagnosis and treatment guidance.
- Generate digital prescriptions.
- Advise lab tests such as CBC,



LFT and urine tests where medically required.
- Refer patients to PHC, Urban PHC, government hospital, specialist, laboratory or emergency care where required.
- Provide follow-up instructions for chronic, high-risk and referred patients.
- Maintain consultation notes and prescription records.
- Guide CHWs and Telemedicine Operator on escalation cases.
- Follow ethical medical practice, patient confidentiality and telemedicine protocols.
- Participate in periodic clinical quality review, if required.

Key Deliverables

- Teleconsultations completed as per doctor roster.
- Digital prescriptions generated.
- High-risk cases identified and referred.
- Lab test / referral advice documented.
- Clinical notes and follow-up instructions maintained.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
