Qualification

- MBBS with MS/DNB in Orthopedics
- Valid registration with the relevant State Medical Council/NMC
- Candidates with relevant post-qualification experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis and treatment for orthopedic patients.
- Conduct OPD consultations and manage inpatient orthopedic cases.
- Diagnose and manage:
- Fractures and trauma
- Joint pain and arthritis
- Sports and ligament injuries
- Spine and back-related orthopedic conditions
- Bone and soft-tissue disorders
- Joint and musculoskeletal problems
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures appropriate to the hospital's facilities and scope of practice.
- Participate in emergency and trauma management when required.
- Perform pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
- Conduct and supervise orthopedic procedures including fracture management, fixation procedures and other applicable surgeries.
- Coordinate with Anesthesia, General Surgery, Medicine, Physiotherapy and other departments for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, operative notes and discharge summaries.




- Ensure appropriate counselling of patients and their attendants regarding treatment options, procedures, risks and expected outcomes.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices and applicable medical regulations.
- Participate in orthopedic camps, health-check-up programs and community outreach activities when required.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in managing orthopedic trauma and emergency cases.
- Experience in fracture fixation and orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Experience with joint-related conditions and arthritic disorders.
- Ability to independently manage OPD, IPD and emergency orthopedic cases.
- Good communication and patient-counselling skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary hospital team.
