Job Summary

Matrix Hospital, a well-established and growing 50-bedded multi-specialty hospital in Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Consultant – General Surgeon to join our growing clinical team.

Eligibility

- Qualification: MS General Surgery or DNB General Surgery
- Experience: 3–5 years post-PG experience
- Candidates with relevant hospital experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct surgical OPD consultations and clinical evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage patients requiring general surgical care.
- Perform appropriate general surgical procedures as per qualification and hospital facilities.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patients.
- Handle surgical emergencies and provide appropriate clinical management.
- Conduct regular rounds for admitted surgical patients.
- Review investigations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Coordinate with anaesthetists, physicians, nursing staff, and other consultants.
- Provide counselling and explain treatment and surgical procedures to patients and attendants.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and surgical documentation.




- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
- Provide appropriate follow-up and post-operative care.
