- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments of patients.
- Evaluate patient medical histories, allergies, medications, and risk factors.
- Advise on preoperative fasting and medication management.
- Explain anesthesia plans and obtain informed consent.
- Monitor patients vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, etc.).
- Lead the care of critically ill patients in ICU (medical, surgical, neuro, or cardiac ICUs).
- Perform regular rounds and develop individualized care plans.
- Manage ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and other invasive procedures.
