Role & responsibilities

- Develop detailed method statements and work procedures for complex construction activities.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with construction methods.
- Develop and implement lifting plans for all crane operations, ensuring alignment with project requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate the selection and mobilization of appropriate cranes and lifting equipment for each lift.
- Conduct site assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure the lifting area is secure for operations.
- Ensure the load charts and lifting capacities of cranes are fully understood and adhered to during the planning and execution stages.
- Ensure that all lifting documentation is completed accurately,



including lifting permits, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Maintain records of lifting operations, including lift plans, equipment inspections, safety audits, and incident reports.
- Evaluate and select specialized equipment such as Strand jacks, SPMTs, Mega cranes and machinery.
- Optimise crane utilization, counterweight configurations, and load distribution for heavy lifting and complex installations.
- Optimise and reuse available temporary works for sustainable construction methods that minimize environmental impact
