Job Descriptions for Construction Supervisor – Finishing Works

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction and finishing activities at the project site. The candidate should have practical knowledge of electrical, carpentry, civil finishing, plumbing, painting, flooring, false ceiling, and other interior/finishing works.

The person will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

 Supervise and monitor daily construction and finishing activities at the site.

 Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, painters, and other skilled workers.

 Supervise electrical finishing work, including wiring, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, DBs, and related installations.

 Supervise carpentry work, including doors, frames, cabinets, furniture, partitions, wooden fixtures, and repair work.

 Monitor civil finishing works, including plastering, putty,



painting, flooring, tiling, waterproofing, and masonry works.

 Coordinate false ceiling, gypsum work, glass/aluminum work, partition work, and interior finishing.

 Perform other construction-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills & Knowledge

 Valuable practical knowledge of civil and finishing works.

 Knowledge of electrical and carpentry works is essential.

 Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, flooring, tiling, waterproofing, false ceiling, and interior works.

 Knowledge of basic construction safety practices.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification: ITI / Diploma / equivalent qualification in Civil, Electrical, Carpentry, or a related field will be preferred.

Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in construction, building maintenance, interior works, or finishing projects.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
