About the Role -

ComplianceAssist is ChiStats' AI-enabled compliance platform for Asset Management Companies. We are looking for a compliance professional with practical experience in the Indian BFSI regulatory environment to join our Product team.

The role involves applying compliance expertise to a technology-enabled product. You will work with Product and Technology teams to interpret regulatory requirements, review compliance workflows and outputs, identify gaps, and help ensure that ComplianceAssist reflects real-world compliance practices.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse SEBI, AMFI, and other relevant regulatory circulars and requirements and assess their impact on compliance processes.

- Review compliance workflows and AI-assisted outputs against applicable regulatory requirements for accuracy and completeness.

- Identify gaps or incorrect interpretations and work with Product and Technology teams to resolve them.





- Provide domain inputs on compliance processes, requirements.

- Participate in testing and validation of current and enhanced features from a compliance perspective.

- Stay updated on relevant regulatory developments and identify implications for the product.

- Contribute to improving ComplianceAssist based on practical knowledge of AMC and BFSI compliance processes.

- Support client or product discussions where compliance domain expertise is required.

What We're Looking For

- 3–6 years of experience in Compliance / Regulatory Compliance, preferably within an AMC, mutual fund, or financial services organisation.

- Good working knowledge of SEBI and AMFI regulations and compliance requirements relevant to asset management.

- Practical understanding of regulatory circulars, compliance obligations, monitoring, reporting, and related processes.

- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business or compliance processes.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify gaps between regulatory requirements and product outputs.

- Valuable communication skills and ability to work effectively with Product and Technology teams.

- Comfortable working in a technology-driven environment and interested in the application of AI to compliance.

Nice to Have

- Experience across more than one AMC or financial services organisation.

- Exposure to RegTech, compliance transformation, or technology-led process improvement.

- Familiarity with AI/LLM-based applications.
