Hiring: Compliance Manager - VAT & WHT

Our client is a leading multinational retail & lifestyle group with a robust presence across the GCC and International markets, operating multiple fashion, apparel and lifestyle brands through retail and e-commerce channels.

Location: Bodakdev, Ahmedabad

Work Mode: 5 Days | WFO

Role Overview:

Looking for an experienced Compliance Lead VAT, WHT & International Taxation to manage GCC and international tax compliance, VAT/WHT filings, international tax matters, audits, reconciliations, tax controls and advisory across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end GCC VAT & WHT compliance.
- Handle VAT returns, reconciliations and tax payments.
- Manage tax audits, assessments, notices and regulatory queries.
- Ensure compliance with FTA, ZATCA, NBR and other tax authorities.
- Manage WHT on cross-border payments, services and royalties.




- Ensure alignment of ERP data with tax filings.
- Drive tax controls, SOPs, automation and e-invoicing initiatives.
- Provide tax advisory to finance and business teams.
- Lead and mentor the tax/compliance team.

Candidate Profile

- CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent.
- 5+ years of taxation experience.
- 3+ years GCC tax experience.
- Strong exposure to VAT & WHT.
- Multi-country tax compliance experience preferred.
- Retail/Apparel/FMCG experience is an advantage.
