About The Role

KindVoice connects Seekers — people who want someone to talk to — with volunteer Listeners through private voice conversations. The platform is built. We now need help finding our first communities and learning what makes people trust, try and return to it.

This is not a conventional social-media role. We are looking for a community builder, not someone focused on content calendars or impressions: a person who discovers what works through conversations and practical experiments.

You will work directly with the founder and have considerable freedom to test ideas, share honest feedback and help shape our approach.

What you will do

You will find places where potential Seekers and Listeners already spend their time and identify respectful ways to introduce KindVoice.

- Find and engage potential volunteer Listeners.

- Introduce a manageable number of new Seekers to KindVoice.

- Build relationships with community organizers and potential partners.

- Establish and develop appropriate KindVoice social and community channels.

- Talk with early users and gather honest feedback.

- Test different communities, messages and acquisition approaches.

- Identify problems with our messaging, onboarding or user experience and turn successful experiments into repeatable practices.

You will have a short weekly conversation with the founder to discuss what happened, what you learned and what we should try next. We expect you to tell us when something is not working — especially when something is not working.

This is not about vanity metrics. Ten people who genuinely use and value KindVoice can teach us more than thousands of passive followers. People who come to KindVoice may be lonely, having a difficult evening or simply wanting another person to hear them,



so how we grow matters as much as how quickly we grow.

We do not want aggressive growth hacking, spam, manufactured engagement or exaggerated promises. We will never exploit loneliness to acquire users. We want to find people for whom KindVoice genuinely makes sense, listen to what they tell us and build something they want to be part of.

We care about genuine Listener interest and applications, active Listeners, Seekers who try the platform and return, completed conversations, honest feedback and communities that consistently bring the right people to KindVoice.

Discover

Learn the platform, map potential communities and start listening. Find out what people understand immediately, what needs explaining and what makes them hesitate.

Experiment

Test different communities, messages and approaches. Develop the channels showing promise and stop spending time on those that are not working.

Validate

Concentrate on the strongest approaches. Document what succeeded, what failed and what you believe KindVoice should do next.

By the end, we want a clearer understanding of who our people are, where to find them and what makes them participate and stay.

Who might be right for this

There is no single career path we expect. You may have experience in community building, volunteer coordination, social-impact work, university communities, communications or early-stage startups. Your background may also be completely different.

What matters more is how you think and how you work with people.

You should be able to:

- Start thoughtful online conversations without sounding like a salesperson.





- Work independently and turn broad goals into practical experiments.

- Build relationships rather than rely on advertising or spam.

- Listen carefully to criticism, confusion and hesitation.

- Recognize when an approach is not working and propose a better one.

- Communicate clearly in spoken and written English.

Additional languages are welcome.

Experience with volunteer communities, peer support, NGOs or community-led products would be particularly relevant.

Working arrangement and how to apply

This is a remote, part time freelance engagement for approximately 8–12 hours per week. You can work worldwide and will organize your own time using your own equipment.

The initial engagement is for three months. There will normally be one short meeting each week; other communication can largely be asynchronous. KindVoice.me email will be provided. If it works well for both sides, the collaboration can continue. Either side can end it with two weeks notice.

Compensation is USD 750–1,000 per month, depending on experience and level of involvement, paid weekly against invoice. This is an independent freelance/contractor engagement rather than employment.

We do not need a perfect résumé. We are interested in how you think, what you notice and how you work with communities.

The application asks you to upload your CV and answer these three questions directly:

- Why does KindVoice and this particular role interest you?

- Imagine you started working with us tomorrow. Where would you look for the first 100 potential KindVoice Listeners, and how would you approach them?

- Tell us about a community you have helped build, grow or engage. What did you personally do, and what did you learn?

Please write the answers yourself. We are not interested in AI-generated answers or cover letters.

KindVoice is not trying simply to acquire users. We are trying to build a community people genuinely want to be part of.
