Job Summary The Fisherman’s Wharf is looking for a Commis III – Chinese Section to join our kitchen team. The candidate will assist in food preparation, mise en place, cooking, and maintaining hygiene and quality standards in the Chinese section.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and mise en place.
- Prepare vegetables, sauces, marinades, garnishes, and other ingredients.
- Assist in preparing Chinese dishes as per standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team during service and maintain an organized workstation.
- Minimize food wastage and follow portion-control standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a Chinese kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.




- Basic knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Good hygiene, discipline, and a positive attitude.
- Candidates with relevant culinary/hotel management qualifications are preferred.
